East Side Engagement Session | Milwaukee, WI| Isabelle + Joe
East Side Milwaukee
The east side of Milwaukee is full of rich history and character. Isabelle and Joe’s east side Milwaukee engagement session was full of all the retro and vintage vibes that I just love discovering when shooting there. This part of the city has an old + quaint charm that makes me feel so at home.
I ALWAYS encourage couples to choose a location for their photos that has meaning to them. Whether it be a place you spend a lot of time together, somewhere that holds a special memory, or even your home. Isabelle and Joe invited me into their home on the east side for the first half of their engagement session before heading to Caesar’s Park. Homes are full of little things that speak of who you are. Homes are full of trinkets and the places you snuggle up together on a snowy day. The moment I walked in, I already got a peak into their life together. There was a cribbage board laying on the table and a record player spinning their music. It’s little things like these that I pick up on and then add into your story.
Your story is all I care about.
It’s not about what’s trending on instagram, and it’s not about copying what the last cool person did. It’s about making this all about you. Isabelle + Joe’s east side Milwaukee engagement session not only gave me a deeper insight of who they are and how to tell their story, it also sparked a deeper connection between us. I got to see them interact, smile at each other, laugh, and just be themselves. The more I know + understand you, the more emotionally invested I am in you and your wedding.
